The Scent of the Bloom

The secrets of remote garden

From dawn’s first radiance,

Till twilight’s foremost crescent

Cloak in the bloom’s faint fragrance.

Such adoration of nature’s feat,

Of the craftsmen’s deed.

Grand jubilance in this summer’s heat,

To think it all began with a seed.

Variegated petals, alluring vista,

Resplendent is her blossom.

Reinvigorating to scent her aroma,

Cavort about the foursome.

Her perfume a luxurious indulgence,

An odor so unique.

How wondrous her blended fragrance,

Forging ambience of mystique.

I’ll not steal the blossoming bud,

To decorate my room.

She’s for all who have a heart,

For the scent of the bloom.
