Heaven's Symphony

Gentle wind blows,
In a melody so soft; humming tune.
Vast trees hold,
Musical notes with greenish hue.
And they whisper to my ear,
A song none other can hear.
Beautiful,
How beautiful.

Blue as the sky is,
With blankets of snow, like angels white.
Magic and myth,
Like a fairytale that sings; takes flight.
And I long for them to chorus,
Through smile and laughter; thus
Ballad,
Sweet ballad.

Music is part of everyone's life. Regardless of the genre, music is a necessity in life. This is an analogy to the interrelationship between man and nature. The inspiration of this poem was drew from the inter-reliance between man and nature, although some people are still unaware of their reliance on nature. Nature is like heaven's symphony, a gift from God to us. The use of imaginary such as the wind, the trees and the sky is to illustrate this point. This poem is therefore, an ode to nature. Alfred Lord Tennyson's writing style is one of the factors which contributed to the structure of this poem. In his 'Nothing Will Die', he used a unique yet catchy way to construct his poem. The verses are of irregular length, but nonetheless they captured my attention apart from the many other poems I read in search for inspirations.
