This poem expresses my agony over the issue that man has interfered in the natural proceedings of nature to the extent that he has upset the balance between man and nature. Through this poem, i am voicing out my opinion that nature should be left alone now and that man should nurture nature to save himself from the effect of what he had done. Hence, this peom also serves as a warning to man.I have also drawn inspiration from the poems of William woodsworth to stress on the point that the relationship between man and nature has been severed. The theme of man being materialistic and man's inability to enjoy nature spurred me to write this poem.

Sinful Creatures, open your puny, heavy-lidded eyes!
And view nature as if it was one of your own.
The long forgotten interactions would then be known
Yes, the very frozen relationships, preserved by history, like ice.

You cut your way across nature, hoping to dominate it
but be wary of the sinful acts that you commit!
Along the way, landscapes of nature are being annihilated
but the merciless heart of yours never stopped feeling elated.

I see you cutting the grass, without the slightest thought
of what enormous danger you have brought.
You worry about global warming but ignored
what needs to be done and did nothing but soundly snored!

Not once did you care about the blessed gift
and so you had created a steep and wide rift.
The earthly needs make you crave
and you don’t see that you have dug your own grave!

I wonder if there is even a single place,
which has been spared by the evil human race…
Your very own materialistic actions
led to the cease of the interactions

You deprive the trees of land and you still seek comfort
under the very trees you have yet to assassinate from your fort.
Shameless creatures! Had it not been you, the eternal
beauty of nature would have remained untainted.

Stop your blunders before it is too late
For you will soon be check-mate.
Stop caring about economic boom,
As not far away is the time of your doom!

So, learn to nurture nature to
mend the long-existing fracture
